Monthly SOCIALS
These events are hosted by members and usually draw 100-150 attendees. At most Socials, we provide a Mini Trade Show where members can showcase their business for a nominal fee. There is usually a waiting list for hosts as well as for the booths, so please contact the Chamber early.
Monthly SPEAKERS
The Chamber endeavors to provide speakers with timely topics each month. The Chamber always invites input from our members regarding the subjects they would like to hear about, so please contact the Chamber office with your ideas.
Policy & Positions Session
Each year, Chamber members are asked to submit resolutions on issues of the day to our Chamber office. The members then come to our AGM to vote on these resolutions to make them policies. The policies are compiled in a manual, presented to our municipal government which then informs them of the local business positions on these issues. The policies also become the blueprint for the Chamber's advocacy for the following year.
Member-to-Member Advertising
Chamber Members may send emails to all our members through our Chamber communication system for a nominal fee four times per year. Please contact the Chamber early to book your email.
Membership List
Chamber members may purchase a Chamber membership directory for a nominal fee. Directories are available on disc or hard copy.
Business Excellence Awards
Fourteen "Star" awards are given to fourteen deserving recipients at the black tie event of the year in October! To nominate your favourites, contact the Chamber before June 23rd.
