Business Excellence Awards Decisions are Made
A selection committee of 40 people met this morning at a sponsored breakfast by the Coast Canadian Inn to decide the final three contenders for each of this year’s 15 award categories. The finalists will be announced at the September 16th nominee’s reception.
The selection committee is comprised of past winners, sponsors and chamber board members all collaborating to determine the top three. “The selection process is coming along smoothly, and we are excited to unveil the finalists in the upcoming weeks”, says Leslie Brochu, Chamber President.
The remaining process for choosing the winners of the 2009 Business Excellence Awards is as follows:
- Mid September – All nominees are invited to attend a reception in their honour at Berwick on the Park, where the finalists are revealed
- September 17 – Chamber members vote for their favourites online at www.kamloopschamber.ca
- September 17 – Gala tickets go on sale to the public
- October 17 – Business Excellence Awards Gala at TRU Grand Hall
