Kamloops Chamber to Host Business-Focused All Candidates Forum

The Kamloops Chamber of Commerce announced today that they will be hosting an All Candidates Forum on Thursday, November 6, 2008; 7:00PM at Forster’s Conference Centre.

“This is a forum with a business focus,” stated Rick Heney, Chamber President. “Now, more than ever, business and government must work together in order to create a thriving community for our citizens. We want the candidates to tell us why the business community should vote for them.”

The Chamber forum will be moderated by Heney and written questions from the floor will be submitted to a panel of Chamber Directors. Chamber members will also have the opportunity to submit questions prior to the forum.

“Because there are a good number of candidates this time, we want to ensure that each one has the opportunity to respond to solid, relevant questions,” Heney added.

Doors will open at 6:30PM and the entire community is invited to attend.
